  BROWN
  
    Kenneth E. Brown, 67, 207 Conemaugh Ave., Jerome was dead on
  arrival July 7, 1977, at Somerset Community Hospital.  He was born
  September 22, 1909 in Salisbury, son of Irvin and Annie (Housel)
  Brown.  He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers:
  Robert and Lloyd.  He is survived by his widow, the former Mamie C.
  Fahrner, and two daughters: Irene P. wife of Roy Lee Patterson, North
  Edwards, Cal.; and Dorothy A., wife of J. M. Lape, Somerset.  He is
  also survived by five grandchildren.  He was a brother of Harry, San
  Antonio, Tex.,; Joseph, Somerset; Mrs. Mary Ramsell, Indiana;
  Pauline, wife of Peter Baraniak, Boswell; Mrs. Rita Cramer, Los
  Angeles, Cal.; the Rev. Paul, Byran, Tex.; and Glenn, Somerset.  He
  was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church, Somerset, where he
  served as a deacon for many years.  He was also a member of the UMWA.
  He was a retired miner for Hillman Coal and Coke, Co., Jerome with
  over 25 years service.  Friends will be received from 7-9 p.m. Friday
  at the Joseph G. Hoffman Funeral Home, 409 Main Street, Boswell.
