  KENNETH D. BROWN SR.   
  February 18, 1933-August 23, 2004
  
    Kenneth D. Brown, Sr., of Warren, Ohio, formerly of Meyersdale, died
  Monday, August 23, 2004, at his home.
    Born February 18, 1933, he was a son of the late Frank and Catherine Smith
  Brown.
    He was also preceded in death by two sisters.
    He is survived by his wife, Gloria Villers Brown, whom he married Nov. 7,
  1973; four sons: Kenneth D. Brown, Jr. of Columbus, Ohio; Frank Brown of
  Niles, Ohio; Eugene Capron of Champion, Ohio; and Robert Capron of
  Centerville, Ga.; five daughters: Elizabeth Balant of Warren; Jackie McCabe
  of Niles; Judy Joseph of Lake Havasu City, Ariz.; Linda Slater of Warren; and
  Karen Rickard of Leavittsburg, Ohio; four brothers: Robert and Elwood, both of
  Meyersdale; Donald of Garrett; and Frank Jr. of Altoona; four sisters: Midge
  Bittner of Berlin; Nina Werner of Meyersdale; Evelyn Dunmeyer of Meyersdale;
  and Betty Fisher of Colorado; 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
    Mr. Brown was employed as a test sawman at Copperweld Steel and was a
  member of the Leavittsburg Church of God.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
    He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War.
    Funeral services were held August 26, 2004, at Leavittsburg Church of God
  with Pastor Byron E. Powers officiating.  Burial, Meadow Brook Memorial Park.
    The Carl W. Hall Funeral Home was in charge of services.
