(Peanut) Brown, 83, of Route 1, Salisbury, Pa., passed away at his home Saturday, May 19, 1990. Born Sept. 3, 1906 in Salisbury. He was a son of the late Samuel and Sarah (Baker) Brown. Preceded in death by one grandchild. He is survived by his wife, Marguerite (Diehl) Brown; one son, Donald Brown of Salisbury and one daughter, Kathy Layman, Somerset; also seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was a self-employed carpenter and member of the Salisbury Church of the Brethren. Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Home, Salisbury, formerly the Thomas Funeral Home, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday. The service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday from the funeral home with Rev. Daniel Whitacre. Interment, Salisbury Cemetery.
