(Wright) Brown, 85, of Jennerstown died unexpectedly May 12, 1995 at home. Born May 24, 1909 in Maryland. Daughter of Oscar and Eliza (Nedrow) Wright. Preceded in death by parents; husband, William T. on Dec. 21, 1972; sister, Pearl Beener and brother, John W. Wright. Survived by daughter, Winnie, wife of Joseph G. Lynn of Ligonier and grandson, Travis William Lynn. Also survived by sister-in-law, Margaret Wright of League City, Texas and numerous nieces and nephews. Graduate of Ferndale High School class of 1928. Life-long Lutheran and member of Laurel Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Jennerstown, Excelsior Class and W. E. L. C. A. Charter member of the auxiliary to the Jennerstown Fire Department, where she served as financial secretary for many years. A Democratic committee woman in Jennerstown Borough for 40 years and formerly served as registrar of births and deaths. Along with husband, owned and operated former Bill Brown's Diner, Jennerstown for many years. Friends were received from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday and will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Hoffman Funeral Home, Allegheny Street, Boswell. Viewing also from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Laurel Trinity Church, Rev. Edward N. Corneilson. Interment, Lutheran Cemetery, Jennerstown.
