Born August 27, 1929 in California, Pa., she is the daughter of the late William Joseph and Appoline (Thibeau) Dedeur. Also preceded in death by brothers, Emil and Oscar DuBois and William Dedeur and a sister Emilie Rosenburg. Survived by husband Thomas Brown Jr., son Thomas J. Brown of Somerset and grandchildren, Kelsey, Amanda and Alex Brown. Member of St. Paul's Presbyterian Church, Somerset Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary the church choir and was Past Matron of Somerset Chapter 138 O.E.S. Was secretary for Somerset Borough for 45 years, retiring January 1, 2000. Friends received 7 to 9 Friday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 Saturday in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home, where a service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday. The Rev. Keith Fink officiating. Interment in Somerset County Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Somerset "In Touch" Hospice, 1590 N. Center Ave., Somerset, PA 15501. An Eastern Star service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home and the Fireman Ladies Auxiliary will hold a service at 8 p.m. Friday.
