Brown, 69, Salisbury, died Oct. 16, in Oakland Veterans' Administration Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born Sept. 17, 1897 in Salisbury, he was a son of the late Urias A. and Sabilla (Hetrick) Brown. Surviving are his wife, the former Martha Reiber; and these brothers and sisters: Harold G., Pittsburgh; Arthur P., Millersville, Md.; Mrs. Dorothy Imhoff, Washington D.C.; and Mrs. Lydia Sloan, Arlington, Va. He was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth, Oct. 2, 1966. Mr. Brown was a member of Salisbury Methodist Church, American Legion and VFW, and was a veteran of World War I. Funeral service was conducted at Thomas Funeral Home, Salisbury, on Wednesday afternoon, by Rev. William Cassidy. Interment was made in Salisbury IOOF Cemetery.
