    Mary Catherine Brown, 84, Laurel Crest Manor, Ebensburg, formerly
  Berlin RD 1, died Feb. 16, 1989 in Memorial Hospital.  Born April 10,
  1904 in Stonycreek Township, daughter of Charles and Naomi (Will)
  Schmucker.  Preceded in death by parents and husband, Simon W. 
  Survived by daughter, Mrs. Ronald (Janet) Thompson, 830 Ferndale
  Ave., Johnstown.  Sister of: Harold W. and Mrs. Richard (Irma)
  Hostetler, both of Berlin RD 1. Family will receive friends 2-4 and
  7-9 p.m. Friday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin, where service will be
  held at 10 a.m. Saturday with the Rev. Gary Tustin, officiating. 
  Interment, I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Berlin.
