  BROWN
  
    Maud E. Brown, 96, of 679 West Main St., died April 26, 1993 at
  Siemon Lakeview Manor Estate.  Born June 1, 1896 in Somerset,
  daughter of the late David L. and Barbara Lee Sheeler.  Preceded in
  death by her husband, Henry G. Brown, in 1976; a son, Jack Brown, and
  a daughter, Sally O'Connor; also seven brothers and four sisters. 
  Survived by a son, George Brown of Somerset and a daughter, Mrs.
  Edward (Violet) Pomroff of Baltimore; 10 grandchildren; 16
  great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren.  A life-long
  resident of Somerset County.  Member of First Christian Church of
  Somerset, American Legion Auxiliary and Daughters of America. 
  Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Wilbur D.
  Miller Funeral Home, where a private funeral service will be
  conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Rev. William Sleasaman officiating. 
  Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.  In lieu of flowers, family
  requests contributions be made to the First Christian Church of
  Somerset.
