  BROWN
  
    Melvin Franklin Brown, 67, Meyersdale RD 4, died July 5, 1979 in
  Windber Hospital.  Born Sept. 14, 1911 in Larimer Township, son of
  Simon and Emma (Bittner) Brown.  Survived by wife, Ruth (Kelly)
  Brown, Meyersdale RD 4; daughters, Mrs. Leon (Ethel) Brant, Rockwood
  RD 1; Doris L. Sicheri, Somerset; and Mrs. James (Kay) Beachy, Guam
  Island; brothers, Roy, Meyersdale RD 4; Harvey and Samuel, both of
  Meyersdale; sisters, Mrs. Leta Rayman; Meyersdale; and Miss Alma
  Brown, Meyersdale; granddaughters, Miss Leslie Ann Sicheri and Miss
  Suzanne Beachy; grandsons: James, Lynn and Jody Beachy; Eric Sicheri;
  and David and Mark Brant.  Preceded in death by parents.  Attended
  Grace Brethren Church, Meyersdale.  Retired PennDOT employee and a
  retired miner, having worked in the mines for over twenty years. 
  Friends will be received in William J. Wood Funeral Home, Rockwood,
  from 7-9 p.m. Friday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday where services will
  be conducted Sunday at 2 p.m., the Rev. Ray Davis officiating. 
  Interment, Temple Cemetery, Larrimer Township.
