Preceded in death by parents; one son; one grandson; and two sisters. Survived by his wife, Estella (Queer) Brown, and these children: Frances, wife of Clair Shaffer, Quecreek; William married to the former Agnes Krepelka, Plainfield, Ill.; Mary Anna, wife of Clayton Bonham, Willmington, Ill.; Robert, married to the former Betty Coughenour, Branson, Mo.; Sarah Jane, wife of Gene Freytag, Sunbright, Tenn.; Melvin, married to Carol Mazyak, Phoenix, Ariz.; Gene, married to Kathy Werner, Alburn, Wash.; 27 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren. Brother of: Mrs. Grace Montgomery, Gray, Pa.; Mrs. Charles (Leora) Hull, Riverside, Calif.; Mrs. Kenneth (Lola) McGuire, Warren, Mich. Retired employee of Consolidation Coal Co. and Saxman Coal and Coke Co. Retired from Caterpillar Tractor Co., Joliet, Ill, with 19 years of service. Member of Minooka (Ill.) Lodge No. 528 F and A.M. Order of Eastern Star of Elwood (Ill.) Chapter 761. Friends will be received in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home where service will be conducted Saturday at 1:30 p.m. the Rev. Richard H.
