Brown, 76, died unexpectedly Saturday, May 10, 1975, at his home in Boynton. Born in Elk Lick Township, April 17, 1899, he was a son of Ananias and Emma (Shumaker) Brown. He is survived by a brother, George Brown, of Boynton. A veteran of World Wars I and II, with 25 years of service, he was a member of the Salisbury Veterans of Foreign Wars. Funeral service was held Tuesday afternoon in Thomas Funeral Home, Salisbury, with Rev. Harold W. Crawford Jr. officiating. Interment in Salisbury Cemetery. Meyersdale Republic, May 15, 1975 [B2958]
