Brown, 75, Cumberland, died July 17, 1972, in Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland. A native of Elk Lick Township, he was a son of the late Ananias and Emma (Shoemaker) Brown. He was a retired B&O conductor and was a member of Hyndman F&AM 589, the Scottish Rite and Ali Ghan Shrine. Surviving are his wife, the former Clare Kocher; two sons, Ray A. Brown, Jerome; and Kenneth M. Brown, Alameda, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. Norma Jean Satzer, Mars; and Mrs. Delores Girod, Lawrenceville; ten grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; and three brothers, Walter, Edgar and George Brown, all of Boynton. Funeral service will be held this (Thursday) morning at 11 o'clock in Zeigler Funeral Home, Hyndman, with Rev. Ronald R. Winterberg officiating. Interment in Union Cemetery, Meyersdale.
