Frank Browning, 84, Sang Run, Md., died Monday in Garrett County Memorial Hospital, where he had been a patient for eight days. Born at Sang Run, he was a son of the late Mason and Anna (Fazenbaker) Browning. Surviving are his wife, the former May Williams; four daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Anderson, Beverly Hills, Calif.; Mrs. Lucille Grant, Oakland, Md.; Mrs. Willa Chambers, Tallahassee, Fla.; and Mrs. Mary Scofield, Cleveland; three sons, Col. Richard D. Browning, USMC in Vietnam; John I. Browning of Cumberland; and George M. Browning, Oakland; 18 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was a brother of E. Mason Browning, Mrs. Margaret Hoffman and Mrs. Gladys Littman, all of Uniontown; Mrs. Mary Savage, Star Route, Oakland; and Mrs. Josephine Englehart, Meyersdale. Funeral services will be conducted this (Thursday) afternoon at two o'clock in Minnich Funeral Home, Oakland, with Rev. W. Shelby Walthall officiating. Interment will be made in Hoyes Cemetery.
