  KENNETH E. BRUBAKER
  
    Kenneth E. Brubaker, 84, Hooversville RD 1, died July 31, 1987, at
  Church of the Brethren Home, Windber.
    He was born April 24, 1903, in Shade Township, Somerset County, son
  of Charles and Ellen (Ripple) Brubaker.
    He was preceded in death by parents; wife, former Zelma I.
  Shumaker, died Nov. 1978; one great-grandson; sister, Florence; and
  brothers, Paul and Richard.
    He is survived by these children: Jean, widow of Hobert Berkey,
  Windber; Kenneth Ray "Sonny:, married to former Nelda Shirley Rugg,
  Hooversville RD 1; James, married to former Gloria Lampert,
  Pleasantville, N.Y.; and Doris, wife of William Gindlesperger,
  Meyersdale; also 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.  He
  was a brother of Herbert, Windber; Emerson, Hooversville RD 1; and
  Bernice Lohr, Central City RD 1.
    He was a member of Ridge Church of the Brethren; retired farmer.
    Friends were received at George E. Mason Funeral Home,
  Davidsville.  Services were held at Ridge Church of the Brethren at
  10:30 a.m., the Revs. Brian Simmons and Herald Seese, officiating. 
  Interment, P.O.S. of A. Cemetery.
