Born Jan. 1, 1914 in Windber. Son of Fred and Ameilia (Swanson) Brunberg. Preceded in death by parents; brothers, Walter and Roland "Pete" Brunberg; sisters: Elsie Fries, Ebba Hirsch, and Olga Brunberg. Survived by wife, the former Helen M. Bishop, to whom he was married 25 years; daughter, Emily Ann, Ohio. 1932 graduate of Windber High School. Graduate of Cambria-Rowe Business College. Retired state employee. Was formerly employed in various government departments in Somerset, Pittsburgh, Harrisburg and Washington, D.C. Past secretary of Windber Sportsman's Club. Was active with the Somerset County Republican Committee. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, where services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday, with the Msgr. Samuel J. Tomaselli officiating.
