    Bessie I. Peck Bruner, 95, Copper Kettle Highway, Rockwood, died
  Dec. 17, 1998 in Somerset Hospital.  Born July 30, 1903 in
  Middlecreek Township, daughter of the late Joseph C and Grace (Singo)
  Reese.  Preceded in death by her first husband, Wilbert Peck in 1971;
  a daughter, Grace Fisher; a daughter, Madge, in infancy and a sister,
  Ella Miller.  Survived by second husband of 23 years, Glen Bruner and
  the following children: Reed Peck, married to the former Charlotte
  Harrison, Baltimore, Md.; Ted Peck, married to the former Audrey
  Shepler, Somerset; Mrs. Elwood (Georgia) Ansell, Kingwood Road,
  Rockwood; Joseph W. married to the former Mardelle Shepler, Copper
  Kettle Highway, Rockwood; stepchildren: Mrs. Joyce Meyer, Brandywine,
  Md.; Donald Bruner, married to the former June Schweiter, Berlin Plan
  Road, Somerset; Harold Bruner, married to the former Kathy Doucette,
  Hackberry, La.; Ronald Bruner, married to the former Betty Drencin,
  Trent Road, Rockwood; 8 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 10
  step grandchildren, 12 step great grandchildren; sister, Maude McGee,
  and Frances DeFelice, both of Acosta.  A life-long member of the
  Center Church of the Brethren and a member of the Women's Fellowship
  of the church.  Friends received from 7-9 p.m. Friday and 2-4 and 7-9
  p.m. Saturday, at Miller Funeral Home, Somerset. Funeral service will
  be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at Center Church of the Brethren.  Rev.
  Gerald Deffenbaugh and Rev. Tom Singo officiating.  Interment in
  Middlecreek Cemetery.  Viewing one hour prior to the funeral service
  at the church.
