Glen Bruner, 97, Rockwood, died April 20, 2002 at Somerset Hospital. Born June 27, 1904 in Milford Township, son of Park Lloyd and Dora Bell (Brugh) Bruner. Preceded in death by parents; first wife, the former Lillian Lucille Hamilton, who died September 22, 1973; second wife, Bessie Irene (Reese) Peck -Bruner who died Dec. 17, 1998; brothers, Meade and Wade Bruner; and sister, Mrs. Robert (Lena) Bingman Sr. Survived by these children: Mrs. Joyce Meyer of Brandywine, Md.; Donald H. Bruner, married to the former June Schweitzer of Berlin-Plank Road, Somerset; Harold Bruner, married to the former Kathy Doucette of Hackberry, La.; Ronald Bruner, married to the former Betty Derencin of Trent Road, Rockwood; grandchildren: Ms. Sandra Laughlin of Frederick, Md.; Richard Meyer of Brandywine, Md.; Brain D. Bruner and wife, Brenda of Williamsburg, Mich.; Mrs. Steve (Connie) Pletcher of Markleton; Gary Bruner and wife, Anne of Hackberry, La.; Mrs. Chris (Donna) Mouton and Craig Bruner and wife, Donna, both of Lake Charles, La.; Jeffrey Bruner and wife, Stephanie of Des Moines, Iowa; Gregory Bruner and wife, Christina of Anderson, S.C.; 19 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; stepchildren: Ted Peck, married to the former Audrey Shepler of Somerset; Joseph W. Peck, married to the former Mardelle Shepler of Rockwood; Mrs. Elwood (Georgia) Ansell of New Lexington and Reed Peck, married to the former Charlotte Harrison of Baltimore, Md.; eight step grandchildren and 15 step great-grandchildren. Member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Barronville. Was an automotive salesman for Saylor Motor Co. and Woy Brothers, retiring in 1969. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset, where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday. Rev. Marlin A. Miller officiating.
