  BRUNER
  
    Merle "Pappy" A. Bruner, 76, of Somerset RD 5 died Jan. 12, 1995,
  in Somerset Hospital.  Born Nov. 16, 1918 in Somerset Township.   Son
  of the late Albert and Orpha (Gross) Bruner.  Preceded in death by
  daughter, Kathy Ann; grandson, Scott Allen; brothers, Floyd and
  Willard; and sister, Ruth Patton.  Survived by wife, Frances Yoder;
  daughter, Loretta, wife of Lee Sterner, Somerset; son, Randy
  (Lorrie), Somerset; grandchildren, Allen, Candy, David (Debbie)
  Sterner; Jennifer and Jeremy Bruner and three great grandchildren:
  Tonya, Robert and Tesla.  Brother of Robert, Lancaster; Dorothy
  Grove, Somerset; and Mary Louise Mann, Charlotte Court House, Va. 
  Member of the Grace United Methodist Church.  Retired from the Penn
  Furniture Company in 1981.  A U.S. army veteran of World War II. 
  Celebrated 50 years of marriage in May 1994.  Friends will be
  received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today in Robert H. Halverson
  Funeral Home.  Funeral service at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in Grace United
  Methodist Church, Rev. Charles F. Olson and Dr. M. E. Vance. 
  Interment, Husband Cemetery.  Body will lie in state at the church
  from 12:30 p.m. until the hour of service.  In lieu of flowers,
  memorials maybe given to Grace United Methodist Church.
