Born July 21, 1910, in Milford Township, Somerset County, son of Park Lloyd and Dora Bell (Brugh) Bruner. Preceded in death by parents; brother, Meade Bruner and sister, Lena Bingman. Survived by his wife, the former Anne Elizabeth Gardner, to whom he was married for 67 years; son, Dale G. Bruner, married to the former Marie Burnett, Sumpterville, Fla.; grandsons, Karl Bruner, Guam; Mark Bruner, Stow, Ohio; and John Bruner, Lafayette, La.; granddaughter, Amanda Bruner; and brother, Glen Bruner, Rockwood RD 2. Member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Barronvale. Had worked at Laurel Hill State Park and had owned and operated Bruner Service Station on Trent Road from 1959 until 1976. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday, at Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, where services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday. Rev. John J. Palko officiating.
