Bruner, 74, of Somerset RD 6, died June 12, 1990, on Somerset RD 1. Born April 11, 1916, in Milford Township, son of the late Albert Russell and Orpha Mae (Gross) Bruner. Also preceded by his first wife, the former Dorothy Jane Rock; a brother, Floyd, and a sister, Ruth Patton. Survived by his second wife, the former Dorothy M. Baker; and sons: Terry L. Bruner, married to the former Linda Miller, Somerset RD 6; and Bernard L. Bruner, married to the former Ruth Niner of Somerset; also surviving are two grandsons, Duane and Daniel Bruner. He was the brother of Mrs. Dorothy Blubaugh-Grove, Somerset RD 6; Robert R. Bruner, Mt. Joy, Pa.; Merle A. Bruner, Somerset RD 5; and Mrs. Thurman (Mary Louise) Mann, Charlotte Courthouse, Va. Retired employee of PennDOT. U.S. Army World War II veteran. Member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church and the Disabled American Veterans. Friends received from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, where services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, with the Rev. Donald L. Knowles and the Rev. Gerald E. Deffenbaugh officiating. Interment, Lavansville Cemetery. Family suggests contributions to Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, Somerset RD 6.
