Bryan, 74, of 5102 Love Road, Erie, died at the Medicenter of America there, on Thursday, May 8, 1975, following an extended illness. Born in Meyersdale, April 19, 1901, she was the daughter of the late Daniel Milton and Carrie (Hibner) Lee. She was a graduate of California State Normal School and had been a school teacher for 19 years. She had also been employed at the General Electric Company in Ravenna, Ohio, for a number of years, retiring from there in 1963. She had made her home with her daughter in Erie for three years. She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church of Meyersdale, Pennsylvania. Her husband, Harry Adair Bryan; two sisters, Ann and Emma, and a brother, George, preceded her in death. Mrs. Bryan is survived by two daughters: Mrs. Martin (Joyce) Bretz, Erie; Beverly Bryan, Northfield, Ohio; a sister: Mrs. Edgar (Mary) Cline, Wickliffe, Ohio; a brother William Lee, Homer City; four grandchildren Beverly, Marta, William, and Carrie Bretz, all of Erie; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside service was held at Union Cemetery, Meyersdale, on Saturday afternoon with Rev. Harold A. Appel of the Meyersdale Zion Lutheran Church officiating. Arrangements were in charge of the Burton West Lake Funeral Home, Erie, and Konhaus Funeral Home, Meyersdale. Meyersdale Republic, May 15, 1975 [B3039]
