T. Bryan of Salisbury Street passed away on Monday, May 11th, at 12:15 a.m., in the West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh where he was taken for treatment by W. C. Price about two months ago. He died from a complication of diseases, the outcome of a bullet accidentally piercing his knee 14 years ago while on a hunting trip, a short distance from his home in Meyersdale. He apparently had completely recovered from the wound, but an infection that would not yield to the treatment developed in the knee a little more than two years ago. He was under treatment in the Uniontown Hospital for more than a year. As his condition failed to improve he returned to his home and later was taken to the West Penn Hospital, where efforts to check the spread of the infection also proved futile. He again returned to his home here, but his condition became so serious two months ago that his family had Mr. Price take him back to the West Penn Hospital where he succumbed. At the time of his death he was 29 years, 1 month and 16 days old. He was a graduate of the local high school and of the University of Pittsburgh, having completed his studies at the latter institution in 1926. He was a brilliant young man and was loved and respected by his classmates and many friends wherever he was known, as evidenced by the many beautiful floral tributes that filled the home to overflowing. He was not only beloved by many friends but was adored by his parents and his sisters and brother, who all mourn his untimely going. Wilson is survived by his parents, three sisters, Mrs. John Meyers and Mrs. T. A. Dixon, of Pittsburgh, Miss Anna Bryan, at home, and one brother, Beryl B. Bryan, of Akron, Ohio. A brother, Harry, was drowned in the Youghiogheny River while fishing, three years ago. Funeral services were held at the home on Wednesday afternoon at 2:30, by Rev. George A. Fallon, pastor of the M. E. Church, of which Mr. Bryan was a member. Interment was made in Union Cemetery by Undertaker W. C. Price. Six former classmates of the decedent - Robert Zigler, George Baer, Frank Thomas, Jr., John Schrock and two Austin brothers, acted as pallbearers. Meyersdale Republican, May 14, 1931
