Born March 6, 1911 in Southampton Township, Somerset County, she was the daughter of the late Charles Sr. and Mae (Shroyer) Boyer. She is preceded in death by first husband, Gideon C. Werner, second husband, Walter O. Bryant and longtime companion Kenneth Shroyer Sr., who died April 13, 1999. Also a son Earl W. Werner, step-grandson Donald Wayne Hott, brothers, Roy and Charles Boyer Jr. and sisters, Freda Kennell and Alma Kennell. Survived by children: Mary Elizabeth (Werner), widow of Alfred E. Queer, Berlin; Robert Werner, married to Shirley (Gibbner), Glencoe; Johnny W. Werner, married to Yvonne (Johnson), Kennells Mill; Bill Bryant, married to Alice (Bridges), Kennells Mill; and Harry Bryant, married to Juanita (Nelson), Corriganville, Md. One granddaughter, 11 grandsons, one step-granddaughter and a step-grandson. Seven great-granddaughters, seven great-grandsons, three step-great-granddaughters and two step-great-grandsons. One great-great-grandson, one step-great-great-grandson and one step-great-great-granddaughter. Sister of Patricia, wife of Lester Bittner, Kennells Mill and Hazel, wife of Irvin Weimer Jr., Hyndman. Also survived by foster children, Jeanie Wilhelm and Charles Fetters, both at home, and Kenneth Shroyer Jr., Kennells Mill and Rosella Shroyer, Hyndman. Mrs. Bryant was owner/operator of the former Twin Pines Restaurant. She also operated a boarding house in Hyndman for many years. She served on the Election Board for Southampton Township for more than 50 years. She was a member of the Comps Church and a former member of the former Kennells Mill Sportsman's Ladies Auxiliary. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Hyndman, where service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, the Revs. Ed. Shockey and Roger Hoffman.
