  Miss Carroll Jean Buchanan, 50, of Buffalo Mills RD 1 died April 18,
  1978, in the Windber Hospital.  Born March 21, 1928, in Bedford
  County, a daughter of Emmens E. and Mildred Lea (Powell) Buchanan. 
  Preceded in death by mother in October 1977.  Survived by father of
  Buffalo Mills RD.  Member of Pleasant Ridge United Methodist
  Church.  Friends received 7-9 p.m. Wednesday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
  Thursday in the Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg, where
  services will be held 11 a.m. Friday with the Rev. Charles F. Rhodes
  officiating.  Interment, Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Buffalo Mills RD.
