  BUCHANAN
  
  Harold M. (Bud) Buchanan, 62, of Levittown, formerly of Stoystown,
  died at his home Jan. 30, 1986.  Born Dec. 21, 1923, son of the late
  Clyde and Marian Buchanan.  Preceded in death by sister, Virginia
  Sarver, Lambertsville; and two brothers, Vernon of Fairless Hills and
  Larry of Somerset.  Survived by widow, the former Ruby Berkley; and
  these children: Starlette, wife of Richard Fredrick, Levittown;
  Harold, (Bud) Jr., married to the former Darlene Dill, Boswell; and
  Gwendolyn, married to Mark Ratner, Morrisville; also five
  grandchildren.  Brother of: Mrs. Shirley Gerhart, Somerset; Mrs.
  Geraldine Humbert, Somerset; Mrs. Joanna Gresh, New Jersey; Jane
  Buchanan, New Jersey; Mrs. Donna DeNardo, Pittsburgh; Jim Buchanan,
  Fergusonville; and William, Irwin.  Decorated World War II veteran,
  and received the medal of honor for bravery.  Retired member of Local
  542, Operating Engineers, Norristown.  Friends and family will be
  received at the James P. Dougherty Funeral Home, Trenton Road,
  Levittown, Sunday, Feb. 2, 7-9 p.m.
