  BUCHANAN
  
  Marion Ferne Buchanan, 73, Somerset RD 1, died Feb. 8 in Somerset
  Community Hospital.  Born in Stoystown, Dec. 23, 1900, a daughter of
  Dr. M.H. and Elizabeth Hertzler Baker.  Preceded in death by husband,
  Clyde W., two infant daughters, one son, Larry, a daughter, Virginia,
  and a brother, H.H. Baker.  Survived by these children: James W.,
  Bristol, Pa., Harold M., Levittown, Pa.; Vernon E., Fairless Hills;
  William R., Irwin; Mrs. Shirley Gerhard, Somerset; Mrs. Arlene Lohr
  and Mrs. Joan Gresh, Yardley; Miss Betty Jane, Mercersville, N.J.;
  Mrs. Geraldine Humbert, Somerset RD 1; and Mrs. Donna DiNardo,
  Vandergrift.  Twenty-nine grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren. 
  Three sisters, Mrs. Frances Lambert and Mrs. Grace Baker, Reading,
  and Mrs. Alberta Lambert, Stoystown RD 3.  Was a member of Listie
  Lutheran Church.  Friends will be received after 7 p.m. Saturday in
  Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home, where service will be conducted
  Monday at 1 p.m., Rev. James R. Ling officiating.  Interment,
  Somerset County Memorial Park.
