  BUCHANAN
  
    Robert W. Buchanan, 66, of Stoystown, went to be with the Lord on
  Sept. 6, 1993, at Conemaugh hospital, Johnstown.  Born May 21, 1927,
  in Wilbur.  Son of William and Lillian (Hottle) Buchanan.  Preceded
  in death by parents and sister, Evelyn Lorence.  Survived by his
  wife, the former Cecelia Berkebile.  They would have celebrated their
  40th wedding anniversary on Sept. 13, 1993.  Also survived by sons,
  Scott of Pittsburgh and Terry at home.  Brother of Mrs. Ray (Ruby)
  Weigle, Listie; Mrs. Stanley (Betty) Stopa, Central City, and Donald,
  married to the former Wava Wain of Wilbur.  Also survived by
  brother-in-law, Stanley Lorence, Stoystown RD 2; mother-in-law, Mae
  Berkebile of Wilbur, and sister and brother-in-law Carol and Bill
  Hayman, Stoystown.  Also many nieces, nephews and cousins.  World War
  II Army Air Force veteran.  Retired from I.B.E.W. Local 126.  Member
  of Otterbein United Methodist Church, where he served on the
  Administrative Council.  Also member of Quemahoning Rod and Gun Club
  and Robert P. Hite Post 257, American Legion, Stoystown.  Family will
  receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday (today) at Deaner
  Funeral Home, Stoystown, where service will be held at 11 a.m.
  Wednesday, Rev. Larry Fink and Rev. Ed Fritz.  Interment, Odd Fellows
  Cemetery, Stoystown.  Memorial contributions may be given to the
  American Cancer Society or Otterbein U.M. Church.
