Buchanan, 54, of 213 Austin Drive, Fairless Hills, Pa., formerly of Stoystown, died May 14, 1979, at home. Born May 10, 1925, in Stoystown, a son of Clyde and Marian (Baker) Buchanan. Preceded in death by parents; brother, Larry; sister, Virginia Sarver. Survived by widow, the former Audrey Korns; and these children: Scott, Kathie and Terry, all at home. Brother of: Mrs. Edwin (Shirley) Gerhart of Somerset, James of Bristol, Harold of Levittown, Mrs. Ivan (Arlene) Lohr of Yardley, Mrs. Harry (Joan) Gresh of Hamilton Square, N.J., Betty Jane of Allentown, N.J., William of Irwin, Mrs. Eugene (Geraldine) Humbert of Somerset RD 1, Mrs. Eugene (Donna) DiNardo of Leechburg. He was an autobody mechanic for Stacey Pontiac, Morrisville; Navy veteran of WW II. The family will receive friends from 6-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday with the Rev. James R. Ling officiating.
