  Gladys Houpt Buchholz, 82, of Lorain, Ohio, died Feb.  17, 2000, in Lorain.
  Born Nov. 19, 1917, in Somerset, daughter of the late Robert and Grace
  Houpt.  Also preceded in death by son, Dennis Buchholz, and brother, Robert
  Houpt, Jr.  Survived by daughter, Mary Grace Denger of Lorain; two
  grandchildren, Todd Denger and Carle Denger Gill and her husband Joshua
  Gill; son-in-law, Norman Denger and wife Mary Ann; brother, Jay E. Houpt of
  Winchester, Va.; sisters, Sarah Jane Creery and Dorothy Brant both of
  Somerset, and several nieces and nephews.  1935 graduate of Somerset High
  School and member of First Christian Church of Somerset.  Graveside services
  will be held at the convenience of the family in the Husband Cemetery with
  Rev. Daniel Nicksich officiating.  Arrangements under the direction of the
  Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home.
