BULLOCK Death of Mrs. Richard Bullock of Convulsions in Frostburg Hospital Elmira L. (Merrbach) Bullock, wife of Richard K. Bullock died in convulsions in the Miners Hospital in Frostburg, Md., at about 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 22nd; her death was caused by kidney trouble. She suffered what her family thought was a stroke and was rushed to the hospital, where shortly thereafter, she died. Mrs. Bullock was born in Garrett County, Maryland on February 23, 1925, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Crist Merrbach, and would have been 20 years in age had she lived one more day. She was married to Richard K. Bullock on January 9, 1944. She is survived by her grandmother, Mrs. Annie Merrbach; her parents; three sisters, Annie, wife of George Spiker, Carrie, wife of William B. Leasure and Clara, at home; four brothers, Crist, Jr., in the Army at Washington, D.C., Floyd, in the Army at Fort Sumner, New Mexico, John and David, at home. All are residents of Route one, Salisbury. Funeral services were conducted at her parents' home, where she resided, at 2:30 p.m., on Monday, with Rev. George E. Bowersox, Jr., officiating. Interment in the family cemetery in charge of Mortician William Winterberg of Grantsville. Meyersdale Republican, March 1, 1945
