  BUMBARGER
  
  Alverta Louise, (Blough), Bumbarger, 48, Boswell RD 2, died July 17,
  1984, at Memorial Hospital, Johnstown.  Born Nov. 9, 1935, in
  Conemaugh Township, a daughter of Kenneth and Margaret (Robson)
  Blough.  Survived by parents, Johnstown RD 4; husband, Robert P.; and
  these children: Lois A., wife of Roger P. Howard, Stoystown RD 3;
  Diane, Stoystown; Cheryl L., Wilma K. and Robert P. Jr., all at home;
  Carol J., wife of Larry J. Barnick, Boswell RD 2; and two
  grandchildren.  Sister of Lester of Riverside, Calif.; and Margaret
  Gohn, Berlin.  She was a member of the Laurel Trinity Lutheran Church
  of Jennerstown, and worked for K-Mart Stores for more than two
  years.  Graduate of Conemaugh Township Area High School, Class of
  1953.  Her death expires a marriage union of 29 years.  Friends will
  be received 7-9 p.m. Wednesday and 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at
  the George E. Mason Funeral Home, Davidsville.  Funeral services will
  be conducted 11 p.m. Friday at Laurel Trinity Lutheran Church, where
  her remains will lie in state from 10 a.m. until services begin, with
  the Rev. Jesse E. Wolf officiating.  Interment, Stahl Mennonite
  Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American
  Cancer Society.
