  BUNGARD
  
    Violet Jeanette Bungard, 86, Seminole, Fla., formerly of Somerset,
  died May 22, 1995 at Largo Medical Center, Largo, Fla.  Born Dec. 14,
  1908 in Casselman, daughter of the late Harry U and Elizabeth S.
  (Phillippi) Kimmel. Preceded in death by son, Gerald N. Bungard and
  sister, Arlene Lechman.  Survived by her former husband, Ralph P.
  Bungard of Jennerstown and these children:  Harry E. "Gene" Bungard,
  Chelmsford, Mass.; Donald R. Bungard, Acton, Mass.; Mrs. Robert L.
  (Kay A.) Shaver, Seminole, Fla.; Mrs. Jerome (Sheila "Joy") Pasek of
  Wayne, N.J.; 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.  Former
  manager of the Goodwill Industries Store in Somerset.  Former
  assistant manager of the Somerset Holiday Inn.  She was a 1927
  graduate of Confluence High School where she was a recipient of the
  Lincoln Essay Medal and was twice recipient of the Orville Fike
  Excellence Medals.  A 1929 graduate of California Normal School and
  had taught elementary school for a number of years.  Member of the
  Casselman United Methodist Church.  Friends will be received from 2-4
  and 7-9 p.m. Saturday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, where
  service will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Sunday,  Rev. John H. Snyder
  officiating.  Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.
