Born Dec. 14, 1908 in Casselman, daughter of the late Harry U and Elizabeth S. (Phillippi) Kimmel. Preceded in death by son, Gerald N. Bungard and sister, Arlene Lechman. Survived by her former husband, Ralph P. Bungard of Jennerstown and these children: Harry E. "Gene" Bungard, Chelmsford, Mass.; Donald R. Bungard, Acton, Mass.; Mrs. Robert L. (Kay A.) Shaver, Seminole, Fla.; Mrs. Jerome (Sheila "Joy") Pasek of Wayne, N.J.; 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Former manager of the Goodwill Industries Store in Somerset. Former assistant manager of the Somerset Holiday Inn. She was a 1927 graduate of Confluence High School where she was a recipient of the Lincoln Essay Medal and was twice recipient of the Orville Fike Excellence Medals. A 1929 graduate of California Normal School and had taught elementary school for a number of years. Member of the Casselman United Methodist Church. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, where service will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Rev. John H. Snyder officiating.
