  BURD
  
    Laura V. Burd, 95, died Aug. 11, 1986 at her residence at 1605
  Brubaker St., Berlin.  Born Jan. 26, 1891 in Union Twp., Center
  County, daughter of Dorsey and Minnie (Allen) Calhoun.  Preceded in
  death by her parents; her husband, Clair W. Burd, whose death Dec.
  12, 1979 ended a marriage of 72 years; by a daughter, Catherine Guy;
  brothers, David, Wintfred, William, Lloyd and Fred. Survived by
  sister, Frances Emert, Woolrich, Pa.; two daughters, Myra R., with
  whom she resided; and Mabel (Mrs. Donald Hay), Berlin RD 3; two
  granddaughters, Mrs. Marilyn Benning and Mrs. Donna Raupach; nine
  great-grandchildren and ten great-great-grandchildren.  A member of
  the Mt. Zion United Church of Christ and First Society of Farm
  Women.  Friends will be received at Yost Funeral Home, Lock Haven,
  Pa., Wednesday from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.  Interment, Rest Haven
  Memorial Park, 10:30 a.m. Thursday.
