  MARSHALL J. BURDOCK
  
    Marshall J. Burdock, 78, of Meyersdale, died Aug. 30, 1982 in
  Meyersdale Community Hospital.
    He was born March 10, 1904 in Finzel, Md., son of the late Joseph
  and Ida (Rosenberger) Burdock.
    He is survived by his widow, Isolene (Wiland) Herwig Burdock.  Also
  survived by these stepchildren: William Herwig of Oak Park, Mich.; Virginia,
  wife of Clarence Herring, Meyersdale; Norma, wife of William Alvey,
  Williamsport, Md.; Vivian, wife of William Woullard of Brunswick, Md.; nine
  grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.  He was the brother of:
  Mrs. Charlotte McKenzie of  Elyria, Ohio; Mrs. Kathleen Eichorn and Mrs. 
  Mary Hetz, both of Frostburg, Md.
    He was a retired employee from the Kaiser Refractory of Frostburg,
  Md.; member of the American Legion Home Aid Association.
    Friends will be received after 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Leckemby
  Funeral Home, where services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. with Father
  Clark George officiating.  Interment, Union Cemetery.  Christian wake services
  will be Wednesday at 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
