  BURFORD
  
    Mrs. Cora (Mognet) Burford, 83, of 750 Maryland Ave., Cumberland,
  Md., died Thursday March 8, 1984.  Born Nov. 10, 1900 in Meyersdale,
  daughter of the late Joseph G. and Susan (Miller) Mognet.  Retired
  registered private duty nurse, graduate of Western Maryland Hospital,
  Cumberland; member of Livingstone Church of the Brethren and the
  Memorial Hospital Alumni Association.  Survived by husband, William
  R. Burford; two nephews, Joseph R. Dawson, Cumberland; and Frederick
  of Bethesda, Md.; two nieces, Mrs. Cathryn L. Cunningham; and Mrs.
  Ella Mae Leidy both of Walnut Creek, Calif.  Body will be at the
  Scarpelli Funeral Home, 108 Virginia Ave., Cumberland, Md. Friends
  will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday.  Funeral service
  will be held at the funeral home at 11 a.m. Saturday, the Rev. John
  Huffaker. Interment, Restlawn Memorial Garden, LaVale.
