    Jean Eileen Burk, 57, of Berlin RD 1 (Roxbury) went to be with the
  Lord on June 24, 1994 at Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, Md.  Born
  Jan. 2, 1937 in Northampton Township.  Daughter of Earl E. and Bessie
  (Martz) Boyer.  Preceded in death by parents; son, Robert C. Sr.;
  brother, Wilbert Elwood; sisters Viola Schafer and Helen Boyer.  Also
  father-in-law, Charles Burk Sr. Survived by her husband of 39 years,
  Charles Burk Jr.; daughters Carol, marred to Norman Croner, Berlin RD
  3; and Cindy, married to David Miller, Berlin Rd 4; grandchildren
  Christy, Cassey and Candace Croner; Missy and Brittney Miller; Robert
  Jr. and Janelle Burk.  Also mother-in-law, Elsie May Burk.  Sister of
  Mrs. Francis (Hazel) Brieg of North Huntingdon; Mrs. Ralph (Mae)
  Leister of Glencoe RD 1; Mrs. John (Faye) Reiber of St. Petersburg,
  Fla.; Mrs. Jay (Marie) Miller of Berlin RD 3; and Ray, married to the
  former Thelma Woida of Fairhope RD 1. Member of Holy Trinity Lutheran
  Church, Berlin. She and her husband operated Roxbury Sporting Goods
  until her illness in 1990.  Family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m.
  Sunday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin,
  where service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday.  The Rev. Melvin Kirk
  Jr. officiating. Interment, Wills Cemetery.  Memorial contributions
  may be given to Robert C. Burk Sr. Athletic Scholarship Memorial
  Fund, c/o Carol Croner, trustee, RD 3, Berlin, Pa., 15530.
