Preceded in death by parents and sister, Kathryn Burkholder. Survived by wife, the former Burnetta Humbert and these daughters: Arlene Jolly, Boswell; Nancy, wife of William Jurca, Powhatan, Va.; Caryl, wife of Stanley "Tiny" Baraniak, Everett; and Linda, wife of Richard Schmidt, Manassas, Va.; also 16 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren and one great-great- granddaughter. Member of the UMWA; the F.O.P.; AARP and the Bass Anglers Sportsman Society. Former member of Johnstown Lodge 48; L.O.O.M. Observed 67th wedding anniversary Oct. 8, 1997. Retired miner with 47 years service. Friends received from 7-9 p.m. Thursday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at Hoffman Funeral Home, Main Street, Boswell, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday with the Rev.
