    Charles F. Burke, Jr., 87, Stonycreek Street, Boswell, D.O.A. Oct.
  28, 1997 at Somerset Hospital. Born Feb. 1, 1910 in Pine Hill, son of
  Charles F. Sr. and Zora (Roy) Burke.  Preceded in death by parents and
  sister, Kathryn Burkholder.  Survived by wife, the former Burnetta
  Humbert and these daughters:  Arlene Jolly, Boswell; Nancy, wife of
  William Jurca, Powhatan, Va.; Caryl, wife of Stanley "Tiny" Baraniak,
  Everett; and Linda, wife of Richard Schmidt, Manassas, Va.; also 16
  grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren and one great-great-
  granddaughter.  Member of the UMWA; the F.O.P.; AARP and the Bass
  Anglers Sportsman Society. Former member of Johnstown Lodge 48;
  L.O.O.M.  Observed 67th wedding anniversary Oct. 8, 1997. Retired
  miner with 47 years service.  Friends received from 7-9 p.m. Thursday
  and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at Hoffman Funeral Home, Main Street,
  Boswell, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday with the Rev.
  Gary Anderson officiating.  Interment, St. John's Cemetery, Somerset.
