Born Oct. 25, 1923 in Somerset. Son of George and Viola (Weaver) Burket. Preceded in death by a grandson Wesley Retallack and a brother, Robert Burket. Survived by wife, Lois Louise Phillippi to whom he was married 54 years. Children: Mrs. Donald D. (Virginia Lee) Retallack of Orlando, Fla.; William Dean Burket, married to the former Joyce Fieg, Berlin; and Jack Wesley Burket married to the former Joyce Myers, Rockwood. Six grandchildren, Brett Retallack, married to the former Jenny Pollock and Brooke Retallack, both of Orlando, Fla.; Kurt Burket of Berlin; Bryan Burket, married to the former Tina Roadman of Somerset; Jennifer Burket of Greensville, S. C.; and Chad Burket of Rockwood. Brother of Mrs. Glenn (Betty) Vought; Somerset; Mrs. William (Ruth) Langley of Berlin and Daniel Burket of Berryville, Ark.; and Mrs. Blair (Helen) Walker of Somerset. Member of Rockwood Alliance Church. 1941 Graduate of Somerset High School. A W. W. II veteran of U. S Merchant Marines. Employed by Somerset Foundry, retiring in 1986 with 36 years of service. Friends received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset, where service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Patrick C. Walsh and Rev. William R.
