  BURKETT
  
    Gregory Scott Burkett, 53, of Simi Valley, Calif., died March 21,
  2003 at Simi Valley Hospital.  Born March 21, 1949 the son of Merle
  Franklin and Ardith Loranie (Pletcher) Burkett.  Preceded in death by
  parents.  Survived by his wife the former Helen Denise Wallace;
  children: daughters: Rhonda and Laura Burkett; sons, Mike and Curt
  Burkett, all of Simi Valley, Calif.; stepchildren Nicole, Megan and
  Devyn Chesser, all of Simi Valley, Calif.; four grandchildren Curtis
  Jr., Sean, Brienna and Candace; brothers, Merle, Roger, Larry, and
  Jerry Burkett, all of Simi Valley, Calif.; sister Diane Mahoney of
  Canyon Country, Calif.  No visitation or viewing.  Graveside service
  and interment will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday at St. John's
  Cemetery, Somerset, with the Rev. Dr. Arthur Gotjen officiating.
