  BURKETT
  
    Hinckley M. Burkett Sr., 87, of 234 Montague Road, Addison, died
  April 6, 1999 in Addison Township.  Born Dec. 3, 1911 in New Market,
  Va.  Son of Robert Lee and Martha Ellen (Knupp) Burkett.  In addition
  to parents, preceded in death by one brother and one sister. Survived
  by wife, Alice Rebecca (Allnutt); three daughters: Peggy Lee Sampkin,
  Napa, Calif.; Ellen Mae Diehl, Sharpsburg, Md., and Betty Zane Abell,
  Frederick, Md.; and two sons: H. Marion Burkett Jr., Myersville, Md.;
  and Robert L. Burkett, Addison.  Also 14 grandchildren; 24
  great-grandchildren; 2 brothers and 4 sisters.  Friends will be
  received from 6 until 9 p.m. Thursday at the Humbert Funeral Home,
  Confluence.  Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the
  Hilton Funeral Home, Barnesville, Md.  Interment will follow in Boyds
  Cemetery, Boyds, Md.
