  NICHOLAS H. BURKETT
  
    Nicholas H. Burkett, 84, of Hyndman RD, died Oct. 3, 1981 in
  Memorial Hospital, Cumberland, Md.
    He was born in Manns Choice and was a son of the late Samuel and
  Annie (Wertz) Burkett.
    He was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church, Bedford, and was a
  self employed carpenter.  He was a life-long resident of Hyndman.
    He is survived by two sons, Howard L. Burkett, Manns Choice RD and
  Frank Ernest Burkett, Buffalo Mills RD; a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy
  Clites, Hyndman Rd; a brother, Raymond L. Burkett, Cumberland; two
  sisters, Mrs. Mary Wright, Bedford and Mrs. Adelyn Miller, Manns
  Choice RD; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
    Services were conducted in the Zeigler Funeral Home with interment
  in St. Luke's Cemetery, Cumberland.  The Rev. Raymond Crosser will
  officiate.
