  BELVA (NANNY) BURKHOLDER
  
    Belva (Nanny) Burkholder, 85, of Garrett, died July 29, 1981,
  Meyersdale Community Hospital.
    She was born July 8, 1896 in Thurmont, Md., a daughter of the late
  Charles and Sadie (Wilhide) Weddle.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, John; a son, Clyde;
  daughter, Peggy; two brothers and a sister.
    She is survived by these children: Karl, Robert and Mrs. Belva
  Christner, all of Garrett; Libert and Mrs. Ellajean Walters, both of
  Garrett RD 1; and Mrs. Jeanette Romesburg, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio; 11
  grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren.  She was a sister of John
  Weddle, Thurmont, Md.  She was a member of the Mount Tabor Lutheran
  Church of Garrett and the Ladies' Aid.
    Friends were received at Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where
  services were conducted with the Rev. William Phennicie
  officiating.  Interment, Highland Cemetery, Garrett.
