  MRS. C. S. BURKHOLDER
  
    Mrs. Nellie S. Burkholder, 78, of Garrett RD 1, died Feb. 17, 1973,
  at her home.  Born in Black Township, Jan. 2, 1895, she was the
  daughter of Matthew and Lydia (Shaffer) Long.  She was preceded in
  death by her husband, Charles S. Burkholder, in 1970, and an infant
  son.
    Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Victor (Nancy) Llewellyn, Garrett
  RD 1; and Mrs. William (June) Baughman, of Hagerstown, Md.; nine
  grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; also a brother, Dewey Long,
  Pittsburgh; and a sister, Stella Cook of Garrett RD 1.
    She was a member of Beachdale Church of the Brethren.
    Funeral service was held Tuesday afternoon in Johnson and Son
  Funeral Home, Berlin, with Rev. William N. Hay officiating. 
  Interment in Sanner Church Cemetery.
