  ORPHA MAY BURKHOLDER
  
    Orpha May (Hochstetler) Burkholder, age 87, of Rt. 1, Box 267,
  Jefferson S.C., died Sunday July 17, 1983 in Cheraw, S.C.
    Mrs. Burkholder was born April 17, 1896 in Summit Mills, the
  daughter of the late Silas Christian and Malinda (Folk) Hochstetler.
    Survivors include one daughter: Mrs. Dorcas B. Campbell of
  Jefferson, S.C.; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren,
  two brothers: Markle Hostetler of Charlotte, S.C.; Bruce Hostetler of
  Boston, Maine; three sisters: Mrs. Edith Gindlesperger, of Berlin;
  Mrs. Anna Shultz, of Meyersdale, and Mrs. Ethel Kerschensteiner, of
  Meyersdale.
    Arrangements were made by the McEwen Funeral Home of Charlotte. 
  Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 19, in the McEwen West
  Chapel with interment in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
