  BURKHOLDER
  
  Robert S. (Jake) Burkholder, 66, of Garrett, died Oct. 14, 1986, at
  his home.  Born July 14, 1920, in Garrett, a son of the late John and
  Belva (Weddle) Burkholder.  Also preceded in death by his wife, the
  former Ivadean Sicheri.  He is survived by a son, Robert S. Jr.,
  Indian Lake; and a granddaughter, Nicole.  A brother of: Karl W.,
  Libert J. and Mrs. Belva Christner, all of Garrett; Mrs. Ellajean
  Walters, Garrett RD 1; and Mrs. Jeannette Romesberg, Cuyahoga Falls,
  Ohio.  Was a veteran of the U.S. Army, World War II, and a retired
  coal miner.  Friends are being received at the Price Funeral Home,
  Meyersdale, where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday
  (today), with the Rev. Clarence Anderson officiating.  Interment,
  Highland Cemetery, Garrett.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be
  made to Windber Hospital Hospice.
