Born Sept. 2, 1910 in Somerset. Daughter of the late Frank and Flora (Witt) Harah. Also preceded in death by husband Raymond in 1988, sister Elizabeth, brothers Charles, Ray and Merle Harah, and stepmother Pearle (Sandles) Harah. Survived by daughter Mrs. Carl (Judith) Puffenberger of Somerset and son Robert, married to the former Evelyn Walker Burley of Killingworth, Conn., grandchildren, Robert Puffenberger, Mrs. Kirk (Amy) Cober, Brett Puffenberger, Mrs. John (Kimberly) Johns, Mrs. Brian (Patricia) Ayer, William Burley and wife Kristina, and Debra Burley. Also survived by seven great-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren. She was graduated from Connellsville in 1928 and Indiana University of Pa. in 1930. She was a retired school teacher from the Rockwood School District. She also taught in the Southampton School in Somerset County and in Londonderry Township in Bedford County. Member of Christ United Methodist Church, Rockwood, the North American Benefit Association, the AARP, the Retired Teachers Association, and the Somerset County Retired Teachers Association. Friends will be received 1 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Miller Funeral Home, Rockwood. A service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Christ United Methodist Church, Rockwood. Pastor Randall Bain officiating. Interment, Rockwood IOOF Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Christ United Methodist Church at 621 Broadway St., Rockwood, Pa. 15557.
