Burns, 71, Somerset, died March 20, 1984, at her residence. Born May 16, 1912, in Milford Township, daughter of the late Morris W. and Cora Nancy (Hemminger) Speicher. Also preceded in death by two granddaughters, two brothers and two sisters. Survived by her husband, Francis R.; and three daughters: Mrs. Lloyd (Nancy) Cober and Mrs. Joyce T. Heiple, both of Somerset; and Mrs. Jack (Peggy) Younkin, Elysburg, Pa. Also survived by eight grandchildren and two great-grandsons. She was a sister of: Mrs. James (Hazel) Hay, Rockwood; Mrs. Blanche Krytzer, Homestead, Fla.; Dale Speicher, Meyersdale; and George Speicher, Greensburg. Member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, Somerset, and the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion. Family will receive friends from 7-9 Wednesday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Peter's Catholic Church Friday at 9:30 a.m., with the Rev. Samuel Tomaselli officiating. Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.
