Burnsworth, 76, of 364 Burnworth Road, Mill Run, died April 30, 1999, in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born March 15, 1923, in Stewart Township, Fayette County, son of Franklin Burnsworth and Elizabeth Wilburn Burnsworth. Preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Charles and Frank; grandson, Charles Jeffrey; brother, Junior; half-brothers, Wes, Isaac, John, Charles, Grover, Ira and Whesley; and half-sisters, Myrtle and Laura. Survived by his wife of 50 years, Ruby M. Lowry Burnsworth; sons: George Burnsworth and wife, Viola, of Iowa; Michael Jesse Burnsworth and wife Deborah, Mill Run; daughters: Darlene Conn and husband, James, Confluence; Donna Sproul and husband, Ronald, Mill Run; Diane Parnell of Ohio; Dora Jean Hensley and husband, Thomas, Greencastle, Pa.; Dale Etta Hensley, Mill Run; Dana Sue Prinkey and husband, Sidney, Johnstown; Deena Hall and husband, Daniel, and DeDe Johnson and husband, Russell, all of Mill Run; 33 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; a brother, Donald Burnsworth, Mill Run; a sister, Hazel Burnsworth, and a half-sister, Doll Dean, both of Confluence. Jesse was a retired farmer, timberman and construction worker, and a member of Turkeyfoot Fish & Game Association. Friends will be received from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday and from 10 a.m. until noon, Tuesday, in the Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. at the family residence.
