  BURNWORTH
  
    Elmer D. Burnworth, 82, of Confluence RD 2, died May 22, 1995, at
  Uniontown Hospital.  Born Sept. 21, 1912, in Henry Clay Township, son
  of the late John R. and Ada A. (Close) Burnworth.  Survived by his
  wife the former Wilma Humberson, and son, James E. Burnworth of
  Confluence, three grandchildren: David J., Brian K., and Lisa R.
  Burnworth, six great-grandchildren, and a brother Arthur S. Burnworth
  of Markleysburg.  Preceded in death by a sister, Loretta Humberson. 
  Member of the Markleysburg Volunteer Fire Department for 40 years,
  and Johnson Chapel United Methodist Church and cemetery
  association.  Friends will be received from 2 to 9 p.m. (today)
  Wednesday at Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence where service will be
  held 1:30 p.m. Thursday with the Rev. Roland Pope officiating. 
  Interment, Johnson Chapel Cemetery.
