John Burnworth Was Fatally Injured Word was received in Meyersdale this week from Rev. E. D. Burnworth, a former pastor of the Main Street Brethren Church, that his father, Rev. John Burnworth, of Falls City, Neb., was injured in an automobile accident and died shortly thereafter from internal injuries. He was aged 83 years. He was a native of and was well-known in this county, having been pastor of the Brethren Church at Listie for several years and was a frequent visitor to Meyersdale while his son was preaching here. Rev. E. D. Burnworth who is located in Alabama was on his way to Nebraska to attend the funeral of his father when last heard from. Meyersdale Republican, January 9, 1930
